PHILOSOPHY < back < back to start
chrysalis has always aimed to fill the new technology ‘void’
by working with specialists involved in multimedia production -
from graphics, still images and video - whilst applying the
technical know-how
then to put it all together into a form that will deliver
the message effectively, in its chosen environment
e.g. mobile media, web, projections, live etc
chrysalis has acquired the skills to understand what is involved -
whatever the end platform
this is done by asking the right questions and offering
the most appropriate recommendations
the process begins with a clear and concise profile of the end product -
as would an architect for any building
and for the same reasons, everything hangs off this original plan -
which becomes the “brief”
the accuracy of the brief is more crucial with today’s technology
than it ever was with traditional processes
each step is built on the previous one, so changes can mean going
back and re-building again - a prime reason for budgets being exceeded.
chrysalis accepts it cannot maintain every skill required to cover
every facet of multimedia production, in-house.
therefore it has built up over time, relationships with specialists in
each of the areas - from creative to technical, and these are
accessed on a ‘needs’ basis.
